Saga vs Saga (Photoshop vs Real)

Saga Photoshop yang abang buat dulu. Kontot sikit.
Saga 2016 yang dilancarkan September lepas. Lain sangat, tapi ada la juga yg diteka betul.

Nak cerita, yang dulu abang ada photoshop gambar Saga baru. Main teka-teka je rupa dia macam mana.

Popular juga la gambar ni, keluar kat google search page pertama jugalah tahap popular dia  dulu. Tapi populariti tu berakhir setelah Saga keluar betul-betul. Bak kata pepatah, hidup umpama roda la kan. Ada masa kita kat dalam but, ada masa kat hub tayar tu.

So, cuba korang banding Saga photoshop abang dengan Saga yang betul-betul bukan cobaan ni.

p/s: Abang memang tak sangka ada misai wak doyok kat Saga baru ni dulu.

Saga dan Bezza

[Post asal kat FB beberapa hari lepas]

Kereta sedan kompak terhangat di pasaran sekarang. Menarik minat pembeli kereta pertama dan pembeli di kalangan golongan pencen dan bersara. Mudah dan murah.

 

Ni komen abang.
Luaran.
Kedua-dua kereta ada kekuatan dan kekurangan masing2. Gambar2 yang abang pilih tu pun the best quarter view untuk kedua2 kereta. Saga dari belakang, Bezza dari depan. Ko nak komplen banyak2 pon, ko beli kereta harga lebih kurang RM50k je pun, mesti la ada trade-offs dia.

Bezza dr belakang mmg macam mamat muka je hensem tapi kat gym skip leg-day. Saga, kalau depan mata macam budak 12 tahun make-up cukur kening, tak padan dengan kecik, bersolek macam orang tua. Orang sarawak kata tua-ija. Details nampak lawa la, tapi, overall, memang ada yg tak kena sikit pada dua2 design ni.
Dalaman.
Kemas. Dua2 pon kemas. Paling kemas model paling mahal la. Bezza stereng takbleh laras, Saga boleh. Saga radio rendah sgt, Bezza punya elok je aras mata. Ruang dalaman cukup la. Seat depan sedap, especially Saga. Seat belakang Bezza tegak, duduk lama2 boleh buat korang pergi chiropractors betulkan tulang belakang.

But (boot tau, boot… Bukan bonet belakang. Bonet tu tempat enjin. Aku marah betul orang salah guna definisi ni). Dua2 besar n cukup untuk family kecik. 500 liter untuk Bezza tu besar sgt aku rasa, most of the time nak isi ape? Buat car boot sale ok ni… (Hah… Boot, tau tak? Boot!! Bukan bonet).

 

Selamat.
Dua2 ada ciri keselamatan tinggi. Bezza lebih sikit, dia dapat 5 bintang. Bukan Nora bagi, Asean NCAP bagi. Nora tu siapa? Dia tau apa pasal NCAP nak bagi bintang? Paling baik, yang ada ESC. Boleh elak keadaan yang tak dijangka. Invest la lebih sikit pasal keselamatan ni. Orang Malaysia jenis bawak macam hantu raya, tak kira masa raya cina, india ka, melayu ka. Jalan pulak lubang2 macam muka remaja.

Dua2 boleh masuk car seat ada ISOFIX. Ada anak tu, invest benda2 ni dulu la. Beli stroller mahal, designer handbags dan bodykit bagai buat apa?
Jimat.
Jimat minyak. Masing2 ada kadar penjimatan sendiri. Roadtax insurans pun jimat. Ko nak expect ko bawak laju tapi pakai minyak macam moto EX5 kau, baik ko pergi buat kereta sendiri, aku malas nak layan komplen merepek kau dah.

Kos selenggara, selagi ko menten elok, ikut masa n baca manual, elok la dia jalan. Ada masalah, claim saja waranti. Ko jangan komplen servis mahal tapi macam2 dah ko modified kasi nampak langsi, ekzos berdentum2 mintak maki jiran. Mintak lauk selipar namanya.
Konklusi.
Selagi ko tak banyak soal, selagi ko boleh tahan nafsu belanja ko, ko boleh je survive n bergaya dengan kereta camni. Ko nak juga Honda Civic dgn gaji bawah 3k ko tu abang tak larang. Susah ko tanggung sendiri lah.

Sesuai sangat untuk yang baru belajar pakai kereta. Knowledge tahap tadika lagi bab kereta. Nak renew insurans pon ko tak reti lagi kan? Jimat. Duit lebih boleh buat bayar takaful dan invest dalam benda lain.

“Alah membeli menang memakai? Biar papa asal bergaya?” Hah… Lantak. Bagi le alasan apa pun. Lepas tu tak cukup duit ko salah ke kerajaan dan rakan taulan. Good job, Syabas inspector syahab…

Persona SUV (Aeroback)

Proton Persona based SUV… How do you like it?

The Persona launched by Proton in August this year had a back portion reminiscing those on the BMW X6. So I thought it could be spawned into a jacked-up sedan SUV with some body-clads and bigger tyres.

That doesn’t look really out of the likes of Honda HR-V and Toyota upcoming C-HR, does it?
Give it a 1.3 Turbo in the range of 140bhp and 190Nm, a big hatchback like Gen2 and an optional hybrid 4WD system (well, it might be too far off), it won’t be disappointing…

…and revive the Aeroback nameplate back!

But, I don’t really think it will happen, not sooner, since Proton’s collaboration with Suzuki are considering to re-badge the Vitara for our market. The upcoming Ertiga mini MPV will be a test for Suzuki-based localized product for our market. Here in Miri, we could see some Brunei-plated Ertiga around, I would say it is not bad at all.

The Persona Wagon

I gave myself a 10-minutes Photoshop challenge. My obvious victim would certainly be the newly launched Proton Persona.

Slapped an extra windows at the back, and throw in roof racks.

Proton Persona, Old vs New: What’s better, and what’s missing?

Yesterday, the new Proton Persona was launched. It replaces the 9 years old outgoing model introduced in 2007. 250,000 units were sold since and surely is Proton breadwinner alongside Proton Saga.

So, how does the new one compares to the old?

What if: The Tuah’s face is retained

The Proton Preve conceptualized by Proton Tuah concept in 2010. It was shown in Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show along with 4 other Pahlawan concept, named after the infamous 5 Malay warrior of Malacca Sultanate.

However, concept cars, usually they are out of this world styling, and mostly follows the theme of the show and to gauge public responds. Manufacturing considerations are out of the question and they are mostly are clay models wrapped in stickers or paint with actual parts produced by rapid prototyping. But, not all are not feasible for production, some elements are close enough, but may be dropped because of cost issues.

So, what if some of that face were materialized to production form?

Here’s how. I’d put the single-graphic headlamp-grille from Tuah onto Preve’s face.
